The pouch seems ok, but I have a 42” waist with any gear on the belt was way way too small. Had to purchase the extra belt from them for $10. I wish for the price they would just put a decent belt on the pack.
Fall and winter in the northeast can be a challenge when it comes to keeping my fingers warm. As someone who enjoys the outdoors, this heated pouch has provided the necessary warmth needed. When gloves are not convenient, this pouch is the perfect solution. The design allows me to keep all finger warm by gripping the heating element. Other pouches I have tried, do not provide the heat where i need it most. Heats up fast and last for many hours. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys cold weather sports, but not cold hands!
As I get older, my fingers just can't handle the cold as well.
I've only used this twice and the weather wasn't super cold. Maybe high 20's to mid 30's for a few hours, before I didn't need it anymore. I'm primarily using this during nature photography where thick gloves are not usable for quick camera usage. The build qaulity seems very durable. Heat output at medium was fine. Didn't need high.
Purchased an extra battery but didn't need it so far.
I can get my hands into the pocket with thin gloves. I think thicker gloves would be an issue for that, but I think the thin gloves and heated pocket work nicely.
I'm happy with the purchase and looking forward to using it in colder temps over longer periods.
